Tomorrow, Dalia, Grandma Patty, Galen and I will fly from SFO to Beijing. 2 days in Beijing, and then we will fly to Lanzhou, in Gansu Province, be picked up by our driver named "Steed," and then travel to Tianshui, where Dalia was born.
We hope to be able to meet her foster mother, the woman who took care of Dalia for a period of time (6 months? a year?) before she was adopted. I will be writing as we travel.
